1.) Explain why or why not you were satisfied with our latest newsletter project. I am very satisfied with my newsletter project because I spend  a lot of time to think about my layout and how I wanted it to look. I did everything that I was required to do and I made sure it looked upn to part, so I am satsified with my work

2.) Explain how you have developed as a writer and a your biggest blogger. I have made a lot of inprovement as a writier and a blogger. I can now expand on my writing and I have a lot more intresting topics that my viewers would like to read about. At first I never enjoyed blooging, but now I find myself content and anxious to wrote a blog. There is still room for improving but I have become a better blogger.

3.) Explain the weaknesses you still feel you need to overcome. What do you need to improve? My weakness is that somethimes I dont know what to write about so my write about the same topics that i already have. I need to expand my thinking a bit more so that i can find things to write about that will entertain my readers.

4.) What do your blogs demonstrate about you as a learner? A writer? A student? My blog demonstrate that I like to help other female with promblems that they face as a teenagers. I love to reseach and find out about other people tips on different topics and put some of their advice in my blog. As a student my blog that I am very verstitile and I write very well.

BE SPECIFIC! On the first page I put topics that has to do with Love and Relationship. • On the sencond page is about friendsip and my blog has a lot of things on friendship so i thought that it was the appropriate setting and space.
  • My third page is about other things that can we as teens may need to know and some unanwered questions that we have want to be answered I put this on the third page because I found it best that a topic like this belonged there.
  • My last page is dedicated to News. I put it on the last page because i wanted to include the news in my newsletter but its not something that I really write about in my blog so thats why i put it on the last page.

How to forgive the peron you thought was your bestfried

Forgiving someone who has hurt you, expecially when they are suppose to be your bestfriend is very hard to do but hopefully these guidelines can help you recendle you friendship.
  •  Consider all the wonderful times that you and your best friend shared. If you are able to remember all of these moments, then surely the friendship had a depth of importance. Nevertheless, the reason for the dispute was probably nothing more than a misunderstanding
  • Think about the last conversation that you and your best friend shared. If you were the one that took the comment in the wrong way, then realize that your friend was not trying to offend you. If you were the one that said the comment that you did not believe was offensive, then try to understand that your friend had the ability to perceive it as such.
  • Forgive. Holding on to petty arguments is never the correct way to leave a once decent friendship. Forgiveness can of course be difficult, but it is the more mature thing to do. The friend that took the comment in the wrong way needs to forgive the other friend for not telling him or her how they felt. The friend that made the comment needs to forgive the other friend for not being able to state why they felt the way that they felt about the comment
Although it may be difficult emotionally, forgiving is the right decision. It will make you feel better in the end. Sometimes forgiveness can take take, but never give up hope.

2011 spring fashion

summer 2011 stripes

Stripes

Stripes are a dominant part of any spring / summer season, though usually, year on year, featuring a variation on the theme. Spring 2011 sees stripes with an unsurprising nautical dominance - but it's a dominance inspired by other key Spring 2011 fashion trends.

Lace clothing

lace dresses and skirtsNo, it's not new. But, like all trends that span multiple seasons, it has evolved. Lace influences for Spring 2011 are more to the classic side with quality antique-style fabrics the key to the trend. Less of the allover, stretch lace and more of the unique takes.
skinny pants 2011

Capri pants

For every trend exists its opposite. So as spring / summer 2011's fashion trends allow us to welcome flares back into our wardrobes, so too does it allow for an opposite style, in the form of capri pants, to make a showing.

How to get a girl to be your girlfriend

  1.    Make sure she likes you. If she's sending you mixed signals, try spending a little more time with her until you feel confident about how she feels. Keep in mind that you'll have to be 100% sure; the point being made here is to not ask too early. If you're only just beginning to get to know her and you immediately ask her to be your girlfriend, she will say no because she doesn't know you well enough, and the resulting happiness might decrease your chances of being together. Furthermore, she will probably think you're a bit strange (in a, not so great way). One of the worst ways is to get to the "implied girlfriend" status. This is where you go out maybe once or twice, or take several times at least, the laugh, carry on, have a good time. Then, one day you sort of look at each other and ask "Hey, are we going out?". Invariably, the answer will be No. Most times, it is just worse not to ask, and to just let it happen.
  2.    Plan better if you get uncomfortable and sometimes don't know what to do or say. Think of what you're going to say in response. Rehearse what you will say when you attempt to ask her out. If you plan on showing any affection, stick to hugs or holding hands early on. Don't come across as overly dramatic or too sensitive.
  3.   Freshen your breath. Carry some mints in your pocket and take 1 or 2 BEFORE you talk to her. Don't say "hang on" and pop a mint in your mouth mid-conversation. She won't appreciate that. Your heart will probably be banging in your chest. This is normal. Relax. You'll be looking for the perfect moment, and it just might come. At some point you're just going to have to ask her out.
  4.   Find a way to be alone with her. The closer in age you are, the easier this is going to be, but even if you have a little bit of privacy, when walking home from school or while dancing, it's better than asking her in front of all of your (or her) friends.
  5.   Give her a compliment. "You look nice" is a short, simple statement showing that you appreciate the time she put in to her appearance. It is also a good conversational segue after hello. Be sure to smile and make eye contact. Don't overdo the compliments. That will make her you are kind of creepy and just plain like you less. And try not to make it too obvious that you like her.  Goodluck!!

Holmwood high school Tragedy in Jamaica

Three of the school's students and an adult who were passengers on a Toyota Hiace minibus travelling from Trelawny to Christiana, Manchester, lost their lives when the bus got out of control in Bryce district, two miles to the north of Christiana, and overturned.
The bus, which also had 15 other Holmwood students on board, slammed into a wall, ripping its roof off before coming to a halt. The owner, Anthony Brown, who was also the conductor, later died at the Percy Junor Hospital in Spaldings, while the three students died on the spot. The driver of the bus, who has only been identified as Buck, could not be located by the police up to press time.
all from Trelawny
The dead students have been identified as Venecia Buckle, a sixth-form student; Lyonsia Whyte, a grade-nine student, and Patrine Clarke, all of Trelawny addresses.
According to police, 21 people were travelling on the ill-fated bus.
At least three students were said to be in critical condition while two were airlifted to the Kingston Public Hospital yesterday.
When The Gleaner visited the school, the vibrant atmosphere that usually permeates the campus was replaced with sombre faces and teary eyes. The overcast day reflected the general feeling expressed by students and staff. Principal Paul Bailey, obviously shaken by the incident, said "it is a sad day in the life of the school".
Bailey said he was grateful for the support other schools in the area were showing. Those schools provided their counsellors to conduct grief-counselling sessions with the students and staff.
While the police had not yet determined the cause of the accident, an officer on the scene said he suspected speeding and a defective tyre were major contributors to the crash.
Yesterday, both the Ministry of Education and Opposition Leader Portia Simpson Miller offered their condolences for the loss of life.
Later, Ryan Small, president of the National Youth Council, said while his organisation was overcome with grief for the Holmwood teens, it noted that many youths perish each year in vehicular collisions on the nation's roads.
"We make an appeal to our young people not to be comfortable with speeding and reckless driving by bus and taxi operators. Take a stand against recklessness," Small demanded.

Poisonous snake found that was missing from the brnx zoo

The serpent is alive and under observation and will be on view to the public again if the planned checkup finds it in good condition, according to zoo officials cited by the online edition of the New York Daily News.
The search team caught the hooded snake Thursday with some special tongs and hooks inside the Reptile House at the zoo, which the cobra had never left.
Zoo workers brought the Egyptian cobra out of hiding with a scattering of wood shavings that rats and mice use for nesting around the building, according to the CNN online edition, so that it would smell like mealtime to the serpent and lure it into the open.
The Reptile House has been closed since last Friday, when authorities noticed that the 50-centimeter (20-inch) cobra was missing, a dangerous situation since its fangs inject venom that will kill a person in less than 15 minutes.
Zoo authorities have now been proved right who said earlier that the snake would undoubtedly seek somewhere to hide, since such reptiles are averse to open spaces.
