In my opinion I think that pictures of Osama Bin Laden should be released to the press because we all want eveidence that he is really dead and the pictures will justify that. President Obama faced a decision yesterday and decided to release the pictures of Osama Bin Laden because doing so might provoke public opinion in Muslim-majority countries and actually feed support for al Qaeda's agenda. I know that President Obama is trying to do the right thing and start any chaos with the Muslamic community but It give the people in the U.S a better closer knowing that he is truly dead. Presiden Obama may be forced to release the photos, because the photos may eventually be leaked anyway. And, of course, visual proof of Bin Laden's death would serve as a powerful endpoint in this chapter of American history. However there is a debate on both sides about releasing the pictures some peoeple are not sure if the pictures should be released to the press. Even if the photos are relaesed some people will ssay that they are fake and Bin Laden is still alive so it doen't matter,
President Obama should do what he think is best for the public and ingore what everyone is saying and di the right thing. He cannot satify everyone. Officals said that the costs of releasing the photos outweighed the benefits because doing so would have cause unacceptable national security risks to the U.S. Ultimately, the president's job is to keep Americans safe, and right now, this necessitates that the photos be kept under wraps. In the end, Obama made the right decision given short-term national security priorities. But we should not be surprised to see his decision come under increasing pressure in the next few months with everyone around him telling him what to do and with the pressure of the public.
